Requirements
This company builds AI voice agents that large US companies use to run customer conversations at scale. It is a small, fast-growing, profitable team where people own whole problems and work directly with the founders.
This engineer sits with the company’s biggest customers and turns their needs into working voice-AI deployments. They own each project from first prototype to live production, write the integration code themselves, and feed what they learn back into the product.
What they’ll do
• Run customer deployments end to end, keeping both sides updated on progress and risk.
• Write integrations in Python and JavaScript that connect the voice agents to customers’ CRM, ERP and scheduling systems.
• Work alongside Sales on discovery, demos and solution designs.
• Become the in-house expert on prompting and tuning LLM-based voice agents.
• Turn repeated customer work into reusable tools and product improvements.
Must have
• 3+ years of professional experience, with real production coding (Python, JavaScript or similar).
• Customer-facing technical experience: solutions or forward-deployed engineering, technical PM, support engineering, or founding a company.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical ideas to non-technical buyers.
• Worked at a company, or studied at a school, on the target lists in role 1.1.
Interview process
• Short recruiter call (about 15 minutes).
• Live coding round (about 45 minutes, no AI tools).
• Final loop of 2–3 hours: communication, an architecture case and problem-solving.
