Requirements
Member of Technical Staff, Full Stack This company is an early-stage San Francisco startup building software that helps enterprises measure and improve their AI agents once they are live. It is a small, highly technical team that works directly with enterprise customers.
This is a back-end-heavy engineering role (about 90% back end) with real say over architecture and product, plus enough front-end work to ship complete features.
What they’ll do
• Build the back-end systems behind the product: data models, job queues, pipelines and monitoring.
• Own enterprise integrations end to end: authentication, webhooks, data syncs and backfills, rate limits, retries and support.
• Ship features from design to production and iterate on customer feedback.
• Work with customers when needed to diagnose problems and turn one-off requests into product features.
Must have
• 3–6 years as a back-end-leaning full-stack engineer.
• Has worked at both a larger company and an early-stage startup (under 50 people) with real ownership. This is required.
• Has owned data models, pipelines or enterprise integrations in production, and can build the UI on top.
• Strong TypeScript; Python strongly preferred; React.
• Has built production systems for enterprise customers, and uses current AI coding tools daily.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Nice to have
• Has founded a company or is active in hackathons.
• Experience with AI agent evaluation or LLM systems.
Not a fit
• Candidates looking for forward-deployed, solutions, product or management roles.
